Before each phase, it is clear what is needed, what you receive and who approves the next step. Scope, timing and cost are agreed before commissioning.
We clarify the bottleneck, ownership and whether urcase can help. Process mapping and solution design are not included.
Next: decline, ask a focused question or propose a paid analysis.
The agreement states the question, work, outcome, price, timeframe and what you need to contribute.
Next: change the organisation, use standard software, integrate, automate, build custom software or stop.
Only the approved solution is built, tested, documented and introduced in clear stages.
Next: accept, correct, extend deliberately or stop in an orderly way.
Monitoring, response paths, backup, cover, changes and exit are defined in a separate operations engagement.
Operations start only after the requirements are documented and separately approved.
For IT and procurement
Requirements depend on the sensitivity of the data and the importance of the system. Security, hosting and operations are promised only after a specific assessment.
New systems, processes or locations are exchanged for agreed items, proposed separately or deferred.
Normal cases, exceptions, security, privacy and measurable acceptance criteria are defined for the risk.
Code, data, repositories, accounts, licences and documentation are stated explicitly in the engagement.
Monitoring, backup, recovery, cover, export, handover and deletion are agreed before an operations engagement.
